Volunteer Opportunities
CUinFP wants you! Volunteers are the linchpin of our organization. CUinFP is looking for enthusiastic individuals who want to make a difference in Forest Park. We have a number of opportunities for you to further the mission of CUinFP to educate and promote awareness of Forest Park government activities.

Committee and Task Force Members

Members with an interest and experience in finance, volunteer coordination, public information or development. Volunteers may be invited to chair a committee to develop special programs.

Event Planning

Help us plan our bimonthly meetings, special events, workshops or our annual election and general meeting.

Speakers

Propose experts and individuals who can speak on topics of interest to the citizens and business owners in Forest Park.

Membership

Voter Registrar Training

Be trained to register voters in Suburban Cook County.

Help your neighbors to exercise their voice in government. Not a registrar? You can still help out with forms and inviting people to register.

Rummage Sale

Our annual fundraiser in October. Donate items, set up or help out the day of the sale. It’s a great way to meet other Forest Park residents!

Like all community organizations, we are always open to new ways to raise money. Have an idea? Bring it to us and let’s see what we can do.

Group Representation

Attend local meetings (village council, plan commission, park board, special events, workshops etc.) and provide feedback to the group.

Additional money or in-kind contribution

Like many others, you may not have the time to volunteer, but you still want to help. Contributions are welcome. Besides the conventional cash donation, you can also contribute services such as items including printing, food or beverages, or DVDs for our meeting videos.
